A new option is now available within MyGame+ programmes that changes how students can progress through progress wheel levels. Depending on how your programme has been configured, coach and student may now be able to complete challenges at any level rather than having to work through them strictly in order.
What's new
- Two progression modes are now supported – MyGame+ programmes can now be configured to allow either sequential or flexible level completion, depending on what works best for the programme structure.
- Sequential progression (existing behaviour) – Students must complete all challenges at Level 1 before moving to Level 2, and so on. This continues to be the default for many existing programmes.
- Flexible progression – Students can mark a challenge as complete at any level. When they do, all previous levels are automatically marked as complete and any associated rewards are issued straight away. The progress wheel updates to reflect this immediately.

What this means for your students
- If a MyGame+ uses sequential progression, nothing changes and students continue to work through levels in order as before.
- If a MyGame+ programme has been configured for flexible progression, students will be able to complete a challenge at a higher level without first completing the lower levels. The system will automatically credit and reward all preceding levels on their behalf.
- Rewards and progress wheel updates happen automatically — no manual action is required from you or your students when a higher-level challenge is completed.
How this appears in the app
- Navigate into the relevant MyGame+ programme on the GLF. Connect app.
- Open the Progress Wheel to view the student's current level and challenge status.
- If flexible progression is enabled, Coach users and students will be able to select and complete a challenge at any level. Completing a higher-level challenge will automatically mark all previous levels as complete.
- Rewards for all automatically completed levels will be issued immediately and the progress wheel will update accordingly.
