One of the main enhancements to the 3.0 version of the GLF App was the new Media feature. This feature enables coach users to add and organise media types via the Feed and Library Tabs. From here, media can then be analysed and/or shared with students either into their feed only or added to the feed and tagged to specific lesson or class.
We have now added the ability for a coach user to share media from within the Feed or Library Tabs directly within the Student Connect area. This update provides an enhanced user experience for those who would prefer to select the student first, and then share media from directly within the Feed or Lesson Info Tab.
This enhancement is primarily designed to give users a more intuitive and quicker option when sharing media. When using the Analysis feature, the user is still required to enter the Media area to select or upload the media file and then perform the analysis.
Uploading to the Students Feed
After selecting a student from the Connect Area and selecting the Feed tab, users can now add Media by selecting the plus icon in the top right hand corner:
After selecting the plus icon, the user can select a media file across either the Feed or Library tabs and also upload as normal. After clicking Save once the media file is selected, it will then be saved to the students feed:
Tagging to a Lesson / Class via Lesson Info:
You can also upload directly into a specific lesson/class via the Lesson Info tab. Select the lesson/class across the filters and then proceed to the Media screen showing the media type in the headers. From here the plus icon can be selected:
After clicking Save once the media file is selected, it will then be tagged to the selected lesson/class and also appear in the Feed:
