The Activity Feed is a key feature of the GLF Connect App for both coaches and students. It allows users to stay updated on new activity and perform quick actions.
To enhance this functionality, we’ve now added push notifications for all Activity Feed alerts for both coaches and students on Android and iOS mobile apps.
Push Notifications for Coaches
Coaches will receive push notifications for the following events:
- New In-App Message: When a new group or individual in-app message is received.
- Booking Confirmation: When a new private or class booking is made.
- Booking Moved: When a private or class booking is rescheduled to a new date or time.
- Booking Cancelled: When an unpaid private or class booking is cancelled.
- Booking Rescheduled: When a paid private or class booking is cancelled, and the student’s account is credited.
- Store Product Purchased: When a store product, such as a lesson package or gift card, is purchased.
- Internal Note: When a new internal note is added to a booking.
- Low Package Credits - If activated in store admin to a package, the coach will receive an alert when a students lesson package credits reaches a specified amount.
Push Notifications for Students
Students will receive push notifications for the following events:
- New In-App Message: When a new group or individual in-app message is received.
- Booking Confirmation: When a new private or class booking is made.
- Booking Moved: When a private or class booking is rescheduled to a new date or time.
- Booking Cancelled: When an unpaid private or class booking is cancelled.
- Booking Rescheduled: When a paid private or class booking is cancelled, and the student’s account is credited.
- New Media Added: When a coach shares new media to the student’s feed or tags them in a lesson.
- MyGame+ Challenge Completed: When a MyGame+ challenge is marked as complete by a coach.
Managing Notifications
Users can manage their notification preferences using the toggle settings in the profile screen or by adjusting the notification settings within their device settings:
