The In-App messaging feature is a key feature of the GLF. Connect App. It drives closer communication between coach and students. This feature of the system is part of an ongoing development plan and we have now added the ability for a coach to Delete or Archive an In-App Messaging Group.
This will enable coaches to manage the number of messaging groups within their coach App.
To utilise this feature, navigate to Messages using the footer menu navigation and select the home screen dashboard tile:
Click on a Messaging Group from the Group Tab:
Within the group you can then select the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen and choose to Delete or Archive the Group. By selecting Delete, the group will be permanently deleted for all users added to the group. By archiving, the group will be removed from the Group tab for the coach user and be accessible from the Archive.
As soon as a Group is archived, there will then be an option to view archived groups. From the Archived Groups screen, the messaging group can then be selected and restored:
