Add an Interval Setting Before Lesson Bookings

For those of you operating in venues with coaching facilities spread out, back to back lesson bookings can present you with operational and time management issues. Therefore, in order to help you with this we have added a new 15 minute interval option before a booked lesson within the Coach Schedule.

This option, when enabled will restrict students and guests from being able to make lesson bookings that finish up until the next scheduled lesson booking. This feature, enabled in conjunction with the ability to enable an interval after a lesson booking, means that you can now completely restrict the ability for any back to back bookings being made in your schedule.

This feature only impacts the ability of students and guests to make lesson bookings and won't effect Manager, Coach or Pro Shop users from booking lessons at any time.

To enable this option, follow the steps below:

1. After Selecting the Add Weekly Schedule or Ad-Hoc Schedule option, to enable this option select 'On the hour, On the quarter-past, On the half past and On the 45' within the 'Time Duration' options:

2. Click the "Add 15 mins Interval Before Booked Lesson" checkbox:

View of the Schedule

When a student or guest navigates to the Online Booking System, they will only see the available time prior to a booked lesson that leaves a 15-minute interval. However this will not impact the schedule available times that can be booked by Manager, Coach or Pro Shop users.

In the example below, we can see that a 60 minute lesson booking is currently scheduled at 8am. By selecting a 30-minute duration, we can see that a booking can be processed at 7.30am or 9am.

However, when viewing the schedule as a Guest or Student, we can see that they available times for a 30-minute booking are 7.15am or 9.15am, therefore leaving a 15-minute interval:
