Previously managing the recurring schedule on the mobile apps was limited compared to the functionality available on the web based system.
We have now updated the functionality on the mobile apps to mirror the web based system. This means users are able to define certain settings when adding or editing their recurring schedule. These new settings include:
- Time Restriction Prior to a Lesson - Users are able to add a setting restricting students from booking an available lesson within a defined time frame prior to the available lesson start time. Users can add this setting at 1 hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Time Options - This setting allows users to define the start time of available lessons that can be booked by students including on the hour, on the hour and half hour and allowing all available start times by enabling bookings on the quarter.
- 15 Minute Interval - When the time option ‘On the hour, on the quarter past, on the half hour and on the 45’ is enabled, two further check boxes will appear. These check boxes enable users to restrict students from booking a lesson directly before or after the start or end time of a lesson.
Adding a Schedule:
From the schedule management screen, select the View/Amend schedule option. The next screen will display all of the active schedules setup by the user. Clicking Add at the bottom of the screen will allow the user to add a new schedule. When adding, the new settings options will appear and if the final time option is selected the 15 Minute Interval checkboxes will appear:
Editing a Schedule:
From the active schedules screen, users can also edit an already added schedule by clicking the ‘Edit’ button. This will then display the settings within each of the schedule days and the user can amend the start and end times, amend the time restriction and time options settings using the drop down selection as well as activate/deactivate the interval checkboxes for the final time option setting:
This screen will be further enhanced in the near feature to optimise the user experience.
