In the Coaching Store packages can be created using the customized payment type option. For products set up using the customized payment option, users have the option to select a coach of their choice at the product selection stage in the store. Once a coach is selected, the unique package price for the chosen coach will then be displayed.
When a customized package option is purchased, the credits purchased can only be used with that specific coach in the booking system and schedule. However, operationally this has presented a challenge for users when a coach leaves their position at the Academy or Club. The student may still want to utilise the credits but with another coach.
To help solve this operational challenge we have now added the ability for certain manager users to Switch Credits from one coach to another. This will mean that credits purchased as part of a customiszed product can then be used by the coach and student in the booking system and schedule.
On the Academy Credits screen the Switch Credits option will display in the Action Menu for any credits which are created using the Customized option whereby a specific coach name displays in the Coach Name column. Switch Credits can be selected for packages where the credit balance is unused or partially used:
On selecting Switch Credits you can the select from the active coaches. After selecting the coach and confirming, the credit balance will be switched to the selected coach and this will be updated on the Academy Credits screen:
If partial credits remain on the package, credits can still be switched however after confirming, the used credits will display in the Used Credits screen and the remaining credits will display in the Academy credits as a new package associated with the selected coach:
On the Transaction History screen the updated coach will display in the Coach Name column and where partial credits have been switched this will display as two separate packages with the credits associated with the specific coach:
