Improved Web & Mobile Web Password Reset Process

Giving users the ability to reset their password with ease, under the necessary security requirements is one the most important areas of the GLF.Locker system. Based on user feedback, we have updated this process to include mobile responsive screens and an improved user experience. 


When the user attempts to reset their password they are given clearer guidance on the steps required. 


1. Step 1

The user is required to input the email address registered on their account and their username. This ensures the correct password reset link is sent to the user. On this screen users can request their username by completing the integrated Contact Form. The contact form submissions are sent directly to managers and can viewed in the Contact Form screen in the Manager user role:


Step 2

At Step 2 the user is guided to check their email account for the Password Reset Link:


Step 3

After clicking the Password Reset link from their email account, the user is redirected to the Step 3 screen where they can create a new password. Users can click the password reveal icon in the password field so they can see the password in the field before submitting. 


4. Step 4 - After successfully creating a new password, the user will see a success screen and can then login to their account. They will also receive a 'Password Changed' email:
