In order to improve the performance of the GLF.Locker system and to support the new Switch Academy feature, we have implemented a restriction on usernames across the entire GLF.Locker system.
Previously, username restrictions were only local to each GLF.Locker system meaning that no two users could have the same username but on another GLF.Locker system, the same username could be used. Now, once a username is created successfully on a system it cannot be used on any other GLF.Locker system.
You may notice this change when creating or editing students and will be faced with the following alert:
