When creating products on the store, you can set these up using the Credit Amount functionality. This functionality allows for monetary amounts to be added to student accounts. The amounts can then be redeemed against durations active within the specified filter and the credit amount is offset against the cost of the lesson rather than the duration.
However, it may be likely that an incentive is offered on the standard price of bookings when purchasing this product. Therefore, we have added an incentive option when this credit type is selected.
An incentive on the standard price for each booking type is deducted when these credits are used and it is then this discounted price for the booking that is deducted from the students account balance.
Setting Up an Incentive
When creating a product in the Store Admin area, after selecting Credit Amount as the credit type and selecting the correct program filters where the credits can be used, you can select Add Discount Incentive option:
This allows you to define a select a percentage discount or an amount discount for each program filter. This means that when students book under this filter using their credits, the discount will be deducted from the lesson price and it is this discounted price that will be deducted from the student's account balance.
Viewing an Incentive
You can view and manage these products when they are added to a student's account using the Academy Credits screen in the Manager user role.
Once you have found the credits in the list view, firstly in the lesson credits and balance column, you will see the total number of credits amount for the entire product. A credit amount product is clearly identified when a currency shows next to the values in these columns.
You can see more detailed information relating to the incentives available by selecting the Action menu icon and selecting Incentives. This will display a pop up which will show each inventive and the program type it relates to, the coaches the incentive can be applied to and whether the incentive is a percentage or amount. The exact discount will show in the final column:
Applying an Incentive
Just like other credit products, you can apply these during the Checkout process on the Web or App and from the schedule. With this functionality once you select the package where the incentive is added, a pop will appear informing the user that an incentive has been applied to the booking and this is visible on the confirmation section on the right hand side on the web based system:
The booking price after the incentive has been applied will then be deducted from the credit balance.
